PRIZUM CREATIVE DONATES T-SHIRT DESIGN TO MDA FUNDRAISER
Prizum Creative recently donated a design for a t-shirt to a local fundraiser. The design was for a family who participated in the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) Muscle Walk. The event took place on May 18th at the Pittsburgh Zoo.
The daughter in the family lives with a rare genetic disease, Bethlem Myopathy. It is a form of Muscular Dystrophy that progresses slowly over time. She currently goes to physical therapy, but over the years, her condition may leave her in need of assistance with getting around in her everyday life.
Additionally, through genetic testing, the mother of the family learned that she, too, has Bethlem Myopathy. It is dormant at the moment, but doctors say by age 50 she may start to need treatment.
When the family decided to participate in the walk for Muscular Dystrophy, Prizum Creative volunteered to design the shirts they wore for the event. Through the support of their community and church family, the family raised over $2,400 in donations! Also, the family was selected to cut the ribbon at the start of the event. And, the family even received an award.

Also, the Schultz family wrote a letter thanking their community and church family:
My family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all for your thoughts, prayers and donations for our MDA Walk. With all of your help, we raised over $2,400 – we received an award and we were selected to cut the ribbon at the start of the walk. We couldn’t have done it without your love and support!
Love,
The Schultz Family
As always, Prizum Creative is proud to donate design in support of our local community. Above all, we are appreciative of the opportunity to create a design that helped to raise awareness for the family and the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) as a whole.
