Baldwin Whitehall School District, Pittsburgh
The Baldwin-Whitehall School District in the South Hills of Pittsburgh had a bit of an identity crisis when it came to the schools within their district, all of whom were using slightly varied and different version of the district’s logo and mascots. Looking for continuity and a refreshed image, they called upon the team at Prizum Creative to help them out.
Prizum Creative worked directly with the Superintendent to develop a new brand logo and academic seals incorporating the school mascot, for all schools within the district. All of the logos were custom illustrated by Prizum Creative principal Jesse Mader to address the various audiences and needs within the district, including logos specific to each of the sports teams
Additionally, Prizum Creative developed an online branding standards manual that could be housed by the district on their web site and easily accessed by an internal audience, but also shared with outside vendors, ensuring consistency on all fronts. As a final step in the process, Mader worked with the school to design and install a custom floor in the gymnasium with the new logo as its centerpiece.
