Subway Signage Design by Prizum Creative in Pittsburgh
Getting to your audience in their environment is an important part of environmental graphics. You want them to both notice and comprehend your message.
Prizum Creative worked with the Fred Rodgers Company to create and install signs on 10 of the Pittsburgh Port Authority’s light rail cars to promote early learning and pre-reading skills through their WORD PLAY program. Using bright and appealing graphics, WORD PLAY is a “while you wait” game for parents and children to play together while riding the trolley, encouraging verbal interaction and learning. With the goal of maximum exposure, these signs are also in 23 transit shelters throughout the Pittsburgh region.
Voices of children engaging in WORD PLAY have been heard all over the city, and although they may not admit it, many adults have been seen playing without their children.
